The Year of the Ram, taking a look at the team as they wrap up summer practice and get ready for traing camp

The Gavilan College Rams  wrap up summer practice with a heat wave scowling the southern bay area. The heat somehow symbolizing a precursor to a season that promises to sizzle with excitement.  The 2015 season hasn't even started but yet there is a buzz around campus. A first year coach who's high energy enthusiasm has seemed to breath new life into a football program whose glory years is a fond memory. A staff of young coaches dedicated, motivated and equally enthused for the coming season whom will provide a new an refreshing approach to football strategy .  And of course, last but not least, a player core of young and exciting play makers waiting for the season to prove they are meant to be on the field. There is a sense of family here in Ram country, players and coaches alike have consistently displayed this by their actions on and off the field. I'm always saying this is the year the Rams get a championship and I think I'm entitled to say it. Luck is not a phenomenon that is created by being in the right place at the right time. Luck is created by action, practice and life mantra that anything is possible if you believe.  Click on link to see episode 2 "Race With Time" Summer Solstice" The End of Summer Practice.
